The Alumnae of Northwestern University’s Fall Quarter Continuing Education courses, open to the public, are offered in person at Norris Center and live-streamed via Zoom. The Continuing Education program features non-credit courses taught by university faculty. All proceeds are given back to the university in the form of scholarships, fellowships, grants, an endowed professorship and more.
Fall Quarter courses are: The Alumnae Lyceum: Reflections on the Past and Present, taught by faculty from multiple departments; Health Politics and Policies: Paradoxes and Practices at Home and Abroad, taught by Noelle Sullivan, professor of instruction, director, program in global health studies; The World in our Backyard: Global Cinema and the Chicago International Film Festival, taught by Nick Davis, associate professor, English and gender & sexuality studies; and How We Got to Now: Global Markets in a Turbulent World, taught by Stephen Nelson, associate professor, political science.
Courses will be taught for nine weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning September 24. Enrolled students can choose to come to class in person or watch the livestream while also having access to the recordings of each week’s lectures for a period of six days following the lecture.
Students can enroll online through Norris Box Office, and then register for the Zoom and recordings. Additional information about the courses is available on The Alumnae website. Online enrollment opens Thursday, August 15.
