
The Institute for Therapy through the Arts (ITA) and Northwestern University’s Music and Medicine Program will present groundbreaking research on the therapeutic power of music for patients, families and caregivers. ITA will present Renée Fleming, world-renowned soprano and arts and health advocate, with the Lamplighter Award. Fleming will make some remarks and participate in a book signing.

The event will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m., with the reception beginning at 4:30 p.m, on Tuesday, April 22, at the Nichols Concert Hall, 1490 Chicago Ave. Registration is available online.
