Congratulations to Braedyn Thacker and Luca Adams-Agresti, both from Beacon Academy’s class of 2025, who have been named to the prestigious Illinois Athletic Directors Association (IADA) All-State Team. One male and one female athlete are selected from each of the IHSA’s 21 districts based on athletic leadership and academic excellence. Braedyn and Luca were both chosen as the top student-athletes from District 4, which includes 40 public and private high schools in northern Cook County.
Having even one student earn this honor is remarkable — but to have both District 4 winners come from Beacon Academy is an extraordinary accomplishment. This recognition highlights not only the strength of Beacon Athletics, but also Braedyn and Luca’s dedication to sportsmanship, scholarship, leadership and community service.
