Baker Demonstration School is inviting the entire community to attend its’ Bright Minds STEM Family Fest from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sunday, March 9, at no cost to participants.

The event will take place in Baker’s enhanced science laboratories, maker space, and robotics lab where children from Pre-K through eighth grade, with their family members, can engage in hands-on STEM activities.

“We’re opening our doors to share the excitement of discovery and innovation with everyone in our community,” said Sarah Mohr, Baker’s Dean of Academics and Middle School Science Teacher. “Our middle school math and science teachers have designed activities that engage children’s curiosities and passion to discover.”

Attendees will have the opportunity to experiment with exciting biology and chemistry demonstrations, build and program robots, engage in engineering challenges, collaborate with Baker’s educators, and experience how hands-on learning sparks curiosity and builds critical thinking skills.

The Family STEM Fest showcases Baker Demonstration School’s approach to science, technology, engineering and mathematics education. Parents will witness firsthand how Baker’s curriculum nurtures young minds through engaging inquiry-based learning experiences.

Space for this free community event is limited. To register, visit Baker Demonstration School’s website.
