The search for a Head Coach to lead Evanston Township High School’s football program into its next chapter is underway.
“Evanston Football is more than just a sports program; it’s a unifying force for our school and community,” said Superintendent Marcus Campbell. “With this transition, we are seeking a Head Coach who is not only a proven leader, but also an advocate for student success, inspiring our student-athletes to reach their full potential on and off the field.”
The selection process will involve multiple rounds of interviews and input from a diverse group of stakeholders — including school administrators, athletic staff, student-athletes, alumni and community representatives. ETHS is seeking a coach who demonstrates a passion for mentorship, a track record of success in football leadership, and a student-centered vision for fostering excellence and pride within the program.
“I’m proud of the search committee we have assembled to guide us as we make this important decision,” said Athletic Director Chris Livatino. “This committee brings together a variety of perspectives, ensuring a thoughtful and collaborative approach. We are excited for the future growth of our program under new leadership.”
With a program as deeply rooted in tradition and spirit as ETHS Football, the administration recognizes the significance of this decision for our community. ETHS is committed to selecting a leader who embodies the values and ambitions of the school community and who will guide the program with integrity and purpose. They look forward to the community’s support in welcoming the coach who will lead the Wildkits into the future.
Applications for the position have now closed. The search committee is expected to finalize its selection in February. ETHS encourages the community to stay engaged and watch for the official announcement once the process has concluded.
