
The city’s Parking Services will diligently monitor the parking restrictions during Northwestern University Lakeside game days. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the game day parking restrictions below to ensure a smooth experience for everyone involved.

Additionally, please note that there may be an increase in pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
Game Day Times and Dates
- Northwestern University versus Eastern Illinois University – Saturday, September 14 at 6:30 p.m.
- Northwestern University versus University of Indiana – Saturday, October 5 (stay tuned for the time update)
- Northwestern University versus University of Wisconsin – Saturday, October 19 (stay tuned for the time update)
Tow Zones
The designated area for street parking restrictions on game days is outlined as follows:
- Central Street from Orrington Avenue to Sheridan Road on the south side.
- Lincoln Street from Ridge Avenue to Sheridan Road on both sides.
- Colfax Street from Orrington Avenue to Sheridan Road on both sides.
- Noyes Street from Orrington Avenue to Sheridan Road on both sides.
Residential Parking
Some residential parking areas may be specifically designated for residents within the neighborhood if they are governed by a specific permit zone and hours of operation. Individuals not participating in residential parking districts are advised to utilize downtown parking garages for game day parking.
Please be mindful that if you choose to park in the neighborhood on game day, carefully check the signs on the block for any parking restrictions or regulations.
Northwestern University’s operation shuttle bus service is available from the 1800 Maple and 821 Davis self-park garages. The shuttle will be in effect to facilitate transportation.
The Northwestern University property game day lots require passes bought from Northwestern University Sports and cannot be bought on game day at the lots.
